Tell Congress What Matters To You

Health care policy can dramatically affect your access to health care and the effectiveness of the care that you and your family receive. Oftentimes, policy makers do not realize the potential impact that legislation might have unless they hear from their constituents.

In conjunction with The Endocrine Society, the Foundation advocates for patients, physicians and scientists by supporting legislation that impacts the way endocrinologists conduct research and treat their patients' endodrine system diseases, and the public’s access to healthcare. This year, the Society’s legislative agenda includes biomedical research funding, health disparities, obesity, drug safety and hormone abuse/misuse.

The Hormone Foundation believes it is important for patients to actively advocate for, and against, policies that impact their care.
