This gland produces androgens and cortisol. It helps to control blood sugar. In addition, also helps your body do the following:

  • Properly utilizing carbohydrates and fats
  • Helps distribute stored fat
  • Gives you body odor and pubic hair
  • Promotes healthy gastrointestinal functions
